European-Style Double Driveway in Woodbridge
Wide double interlocking driveway with tumbled pavers, decorative borders, and stone address pillars for a Woodbridge executive home. European-inspired design with contrasting accent bands.
We excavated to 20 inches below grade due to the dense clay conditions and installed a robust granular base with geotextile fabric separation. The main driveway field uses Unilock Thornbury tumbled pavers in Sierra, providing the old-world European texture the homeowner desired. Three contrasting accent bands in Onyx Black Brussels Block cross the driveway at intervals, creating visual rhythm along the 60-foot length. Double soldier course borders in matching Onyx frame the entire perimeter.
Two custom stone pillars at the street entry are constructed from matching paver block with natural stone caps and integrated LED coach lanterns. The pillars include a low wall extension that defines the property boundary and prevents vehicles from cutting the lawn corner. The total paved area exceeds 1,400 square feet, making this one of the most substantial residential driveway projects in the Woodbridge area.
